I hope you all had a safe and happy “festive season” in whichever form you celebrate.

I’m still battling with some health problems (almost constant extreme exhaustion, and joint pain)… and my sewing room has no aircon, so I’m not able to get a lot done at the moment, which is why I won’t be restocking until the end of Jan/begining of Feb.
So I’ve closed my OzBaby store for January, as I didn’t have much stock in there, and I don’t get charged the monthly store fee if I close down for the month.  It will be back online agani in Feb.  My wahmweb store will remain open though.

I’ve started sewing up pads to do (www.donatepads.org), and I’ve so far sewn up 50 small/medium bases and about 60 inserts.  I’ve got medium/long bases to sew up and lots more inserts.  I’ll probably also make several AIOs, as I’ve already cut out 30 small/medium pads from flannel….. or I might make them into pocket pads – not sure.  I’ve been using fabric donated from www.nappiescovered.com.au, www.rollickingrascals.com.au, www.bitsforbots.com and www.bumblebeenappies.com.au  and some second hand cotton bunny rugs I bought to cut up. I was going to include3 inserts per pad set, so I’m going to have to get some more absorbent stuff for making more inserts as I won’t have enough for all the bases I’ve cut out.
