Excited about Fabric!
I’ve just bought 4 yards of this:
Nice hey!
Now I just have to wait for it to arrive, I’m quite excited. So I’ll be updating with pads in this as soon as it arrives – YAY!
I’m trying to decide if this would look messy on a pad? Would you be able to see it is ladies heads with swirly hair or not? I’ll probably get 1 yard to see.

So when do the lovely colourful inked ladies appear on pads near us?
)
I’m so sad that I didn’t discover your site before the cream-print geisha were gone….and the purple-flannel backed cat/star/moon print liner (the shorter one–I can’t believe I missed it–but now I’m watching your shop like a hawk for anything 20.5 cm)! Any chance of either of these reappearing? It sounds like you’re as much of a purple fiend as I am….ah, purple…ah, lavender, lilac, orchid…ah. (sigh)
Beautiful blog, beautiful pads…please keep ‘em coming!

Umm… a bit of an issue as another WAHM pad maker and I both have the same fabric we discovered…. so just working out details
Cat/Star/moon? having a brain fade
which one? My “Nymph” length pads are all around 20cm…. I have some as pantyliners with no waterproofing, and some with PUL. Both on http://www.obsidianstar.wahmweb.com and at http://obsidianstar.clothpadshop.com

Hi again obsidian….oh, I *thought* I saw those inked ladies elsewhere…but I do hope you get to use that 4 yards eventually.
)
The “cat/star/moon” is on your pagan pads pags, and is sold out in nymph length with a flannel back:
“These pantyliners have one side plain purple flannette and one layer of quality quilting cotton in a cat/star/moon print or a quilting flannel in a witchy print….Measurements (approx): 6cm front and back, 20.5cm Long, 6cm Crotch (when snapped). Our Price: AUD $6.00″
–though you DO still have it with fleece backing and longer, in 26 cm, but that is just a bit too much pad for me….so I’ll keep an eye out in case you make a shorter one again. Keeping an eye out for that swirly lilac print pantyliner too!

Punky’s Pads had some pads made from it, but I was meaning a fellow Aussie Pad maker…. she hadn’t made any pads in it yet though.
I’ll have some in it soon (just got a wholesale order to complete first).
*slaps head* ohh of course, that cat/star/moon one LOL. I’ll get a couple of those and the swirly ones done and keep one each aside at my next restocking for you in case you want them
Did you want them with PUL or not?

Wowzers, you are so nice! No, I don’t need PUL (it’s too bloody hot here) (no pun intended) (which is why I also prefer 20cm lengths, cotton tops and flannel backing) (*usually*) (except in the case of your gorgeous lilac swirly) (oh too many parentheticals)–THANK YOU!

Help I need PUL fabric or sub for PUL I think someone said Procare is the same type of stuff. THANKS. Does anyone know where I can get PUL fabric for less than $5.00 per yard?
Please send me an email. Thanks.

http://www.wazoodle.com/cgi-bin/catstore.cgi?user_action=list&category=Fabrics;Barrier;ProCare
is the cheapest I know of. procare is a type of PUL (PUL stands for poly urethene laminate)
