I’ve got my first lot of Christmas pads up. I’ve got a few more bits and pieces cut out, so I’ll add some more in a couple of weeks.

I dyed some organic cotton in stripes… wanting an elf stocking type effect. The fabric was a bit too wet, so some of it melted together in a way I didn’t want, but I was pleased with most of it. I ended up leaving it sitting out for a couple of hours then doing some more, which is when I did the thinner stripes – it seems that bit extra time dried it off enough to keep the colours well, and I’d by then realised smaller stripes were the go.

And that turned into these:

I got some nice batik cotton a few months back and hubby said it looked Christmassy, so I thought I’d keep it for Christmas pads. I’ve also tweeked my Priestess pattern to make it a little more curvy. I still have some of the old style cut out, so you’ll see it around still for a while, but I like my new pattern and I’ll be using that for all new cuttings now.

And now I’m going to bed, since it’s just about 3:30am…. it’s amazing how long it takes to upload products to the store… you think “ahh, I’ll just be about half an hour, surely”… 2 hours later….
